A little Magnolia ;o)

Hello - well we have sunshine today although it is still a bit cloudy and I'm not sure the rain will hold off for long, but at least I can get some washing dry!  I thought I'd post a card today which has a Magnolia stamp on - I've had it ages and never really gotten around to using it.  Anyway I am chuffed with this card;

It isn't very often that I am really pleased with a card I make but I do really like this.  I coloured the image with Distress markers.  The floral papers are from the 5th Avenue range by Melissa Frances.  The music paper is from Bazzill as is the pleat across the centre.  I inked everything with vintage photo after distressing the edges.  The flower is cut from a Spellbinders die and I just layered 3 of them up.  I added a dazzle to the centre and die cut a butterfly too.  The sentiment is from a Hero Arts set that I have had for yonks!  I heat embossed it and tore the edges and layered it onto a Spellbinders tag and added a little bit of silky crush ribbon from my stash.  I added a little gem swirl and did the inside of the card to match ;o)  Hope you like her too

P.S. Don't forget there are only 4 more days to enter my DT call over on my store blog - here!

Teddy Bo ;o)

Well this is a quick post to show you the card made with my Teddy Bo free stamp that came with Teddy BEa from my earlier post ;o)

I used more Docrafts papers matted onto core'dinations and I distressed all around the edge with my Distrezz-it-all and then inked with vintage photo.  I stamped Teddy Bo and coloured him with distress markers and then cut him out with a nestie.  The sentiment was stamped in vintage photo and heat embossed and cut in a matching shape.  I added some ribbon and a wooden button with some bakers twine and then did the inside to match.  Even though there is ribbon on it I think this would make a great guy card.  Hope you like it too ;o)

Teddy Bea freebie ;o)

I thought I'd show you a little card I made today using a magazine freebie.  I've got so many stamps and things I don't very often get around to using free stamps that come with magazines but I love Teddy Bo and Teddy Bea so I just had to make a couple of card susing them - so here is Teddy Bea;

I made a fold back card and I used some Docrafts papers and inked the edges in Aged Mahogany distress ink and matted onto some core'dinations cardstock.  I ruffled some olive satin ribbon down the edge of the fold back.  I stamped the image and coloured her with distress markers.  I used a Spellbinders label shape to cut her out and edged with aged mahogany.  The sentiment was stamped and heat embossed in green pearlescent powder.  I finished off by adding a matching panel inside to write on and added some pearly swirls.  I love the red and green mix and I think the little boots on the backing paper really tie in with Teddy Bea's wellies LOL.

A little birdie told me ...

Well it's pouring with rain here again - oh for some sunshine ;o(  Still I have lots to do inside so this is great weather for that LOL.  I thought I had better post as I've been AWOL again - honestly I don't know where the time goes.  Anyhoo here is a cute card made with Bo Bunny papers and stamps;

I inked the card up first with peeled paint distress ink and then stamped over using the flower stamp also in peeled paint.  I added a couple of mats and layers using Bo Bunny Alora papers and some core'dinations card.  I coloured the stamped birdhouse with distress markers and the same for the little birdie - I stamped him twice and cut out his tail feathers and his wing to decoupage them up.  The sentiment is a Lili of the Valley circle heat embossed.
I like this card - not really any embellishments on it but kind of nice ;o)
