Beaded bouquet

Hello all :)  Well it's pretty chilly here and I am busy crafting.  As most of you know my health is pretty poor at the best of times and I have been unable to work too much for ages and to be honest I hate it! Anyway, I do have a small online craft store at Ladybug Crafts selling crafty goodies but now I am also thinking of selling more of the things I make too.  I will probably open an Etsy store soon but have lots of things to make and ideas to follow up first.  So, I thought you might like to see my first French beaded bouquet made after following a lesson by the fabulous Katie Dean.

It's a wedding bouquet and with enough practice I am hoping to perhaps make some to sell - I would love to know what you think;

I also have plans for lots of beautiful cushions, home décor items and also cards as always.  I'll be back later with a little blackboard I have altered.

Long time no blog!

Hello everyone!
Well it really is long time no blog!.  Unfortunately my health has continued to deteriorate and I have felt pretty low for several months. Because of this I have neglected things that I have loved to do such as my blog, but now I have made a promise to myself that I will post more often in the hopes that tis will encourage me to craft a bit more and therefore lift my mood :)

So enough feeling sorry for myself and on with the craft! It is the 1st of March and so it is time for a new challenge over at my challenge blog , and this month it is Anything Goes.

I have made a card using a beautiful Darkroom Door Anemonewhich I have stamped and embossed a luscious chocolate brown (it is actually called Bak and it is a WOW powder but it looks good enough to eat!)
On the corners I have used frantage embossing powder in shabby pink. For the background I used a Kanban backing paper and then took a piece of Kraft card and embossed an Anna Griffin background stamp (which I have had forever!) in white detail powder - I just love this white on kraft effect and the detail in the flowers just doesn't show up in the photos. I added some pink organza ribbon from my stash, a little Baker's twine bow and a couple of little stick pins to finish off.

 I hope you like it and I promise to try to be back really soon
Thanks for reading
