Late design team post Craft US Crazy challenge

Drat these scheduled posts!!  I just don't seem to be able to get them to work so this should have been posted this morning so sorry that it's late ;o)  Well it is time for a Craft US Crazy challenge as a surprise for Christmas ;o)  The theme is Christmas and/or humourous and the sponsor is the amazing

Digi and rubber stamps from KennyK are a fun and edgy way to add the perfect dose of attitude and style to all of your creations!

The creator, the artist, the man: KennyK is a NYC-born professional illustrator who has brought his funky-but-slick, urban-influenced look to the cardmaking and papercrafts world. His signature style can be seen throughout his various collections of sexy pinup babes, sweet 'n sassy girls, cool rockin' dudes, kid’s stuff, retro characters and more at KennyKDownloads.com .

The image I have used is Madison Attitude and I think she is just so cute - I have done a Christmas card

I have used traditional green and red colour theme.  The image is coloured with Spectrum noir alcohol markers - the boots look awful in this photo - not sure why must have been having an off day (what's new LOL)  The papers were free with a magazine and I matted them onto coredinations card.  The ribbon, pins and feathers are from my stash.  The little charm is a Tim Holtz ideaology one.
So why not join in with the challenge and you mught win 5 digi stamps from the Kenny K range ;o)
Take care

Time for a challenge ;o)

Hello again - and so soon LOL.  Anyway I thought I'd post another card and perhaps enter a challenge too.  So this card is for the Crafter's Companion monthly challenge blog which this month is let it snow ;o)

So I have used one of their SWALK images from the Winter Cheer range;

Thought I would go with traditional red and green so used Spectrum Noirs to colour the image and papers are from SWALK CD no. 3.  I embossed the sentiment with some pearlescent red powder. The pins are from MCS (I think), matted onto some Core'dinations Christmas embossed card.  The ribbon is from my stash and Baker's Twine from here .  I did the inside of the card to match the outside which is my usual way of doing things rather than an insert - I don't know why I prefer this I just do LOL.  I think I want my cards to look handmade rather than aspiring to have my cards look like they are bought from a shop - can't really see the point in that .  Anyway I'll stop wittering now LOL.  Hope you like my card

I'm such a bad blogger!!

Hello everyone - I am a baaaad blogger!!  I haven't blogged for ages as life just seems to have gotten in the way but I have made a November resolution to blog much more regularly.  I have been busy making Christmas cards/gofts to sell at a craft fair in November and I've also been desperately knitting away trying to make some hand knitted cushions for my mum for Christmas - tryin g to make more gifts this year to keep costs down!  Also my health is still pretty poor but I am trying to carry on regardless of that!.

Anyway I thought I would share a card with you today made with a Crafter's Companion SWALK stamp from the Winter Cheer range.

The image is water coloured witha bit of glitter and flowersoft.  I cut the image out and popped her onto a little paper rosette.  All the papers are from the SWALK CD 3 and the purple card stock is Core'dinations.  The flower is also from the CD and I added some Baker's Twine and a button.  I finished with some Silver Pearlescent PVA from Cosmic Shimmer.
I'll be back soon with some more cards.

I have done a card which is sort of muted Autumn colours and i=using my favourite embellishment of the moment which is hemp ribbon

The stamp is from the SWALK range available here and is coloured with Spectrum Noir alcohol pens.  The papers are My Minds Eye (I think) and I've matted onto Kraft card.  The hemp ribbon I've rolled into tight swirls which I think are an excellent alternative to flowers when doing a male card.  I love the cute snail LOL.

Anniversary card

Hello - yesterday was my wedding anniversary so I thought I'd share the card I made for my wonderful husband ;o)

The stamp is the cute 'Hugs for You' from the Humphrey's Corner range available here . The papers are from K & CO McKenna range and I have distressed them with a paper distresser and Brushed Corduroy distress ink.  The images are coloured with Spectrum Noir pens which I am loving so much.  There are a few 6 pen sets left here !  The buttons I made from chipboard and stuck on some paper then crackled and distressed with Crackle Accents - I added a little string too ;o)  The sentiment is an Anna Griffin one embossed in Gold WOW powder.  Finally the little charm is a Tim Holtz one from his Ideaology range.

I hope you like it (my hubby was chuffed so I'm pleased with it too ;o))

Back so soon ;o)

I'm back again LOL.  I also thought you might like to see a card made for my mum to give to her sister.  I have paint fusioned the picture;

So the card is all black and pink themed and I painted the flowers and the butterfly.  I was inspired by a pastel version Sheena had painted and I am really liking this.  I mad a couple of black and pink flowers too from a Marianne die and added a couple of pins.  I alos embossed around the edge of the picture with brass WOW powder.
